Chip shortage causing sourcing problems with digital and hybrid products

The effect of the pandemic is hitting the electronics industry. A global chip shortage is rising and affecting different markets, even small boutique makers of music electronics like myself.

The digital and hybrid modules will be affected (DCO, Dual ADSR and Samples/S-909). The MIDI controllers will be affected too if this shortage is lasting until end of 2021, but if it is solved in the fall, I should be able to stabilize stocks.

This might affect the release of the SFC-8 (Jupiter style) controller even more. The next projects this year will be the come back and small update of the SFC-Mini (V3) and the release of the Dual LFO.
